Black Swan

SO the highly anticipated film, 'Black Swan' is to be released on the 21st of Jan. The film, which is based on the original screenplay by Mark Heyman, Andres Heinz and John Mclaughlin is directed by Darren Aronofsky, whose other works include 'Requiem for a dream' and 'The Wrestler'.
The Psycological thriller revolves around a production of Swan Lake by a prestigious New York City ballet company. A ballet dancer (Natalie Portman) wins the lead and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan, but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like the evil twin sister of the White Swan, the Black Swan.
‘Black Swan’ has had some great reviews, with its gross revenue being in excess of $61 million, which is crazy considering the budget was a mere $13 million. The film promises to be incredibly dark, and aesthetically amazing…worthy of a watch even if ballet is not your thang. Hopefully ‘Black Swan’ is going to live up to my expectations and not prove to be another cringe dance film-‘Centre Stage’. I want to see lots of pain and fucked up psychotic ballet dancers.Cant.wait.
